SubmissionsSubmissions will be made via the SIGCHI submission site. All submissions must be prepared according to the standard SIGCHI publications format(http://www.sigchi.org/publications/chipubform/). All accepted papers will be published in the ACM SIGCHI proceedings of EICS 2014 as well as in the ACM Digital Library. Papers and Late Breaking Results are subjected to a blind review process. We will use a relaxed model that does not attempt to conceal all traces of identity from the body of the paper. Authors are expected to remove author and institutional identities from the title and header areas of the paper. Further suppression of identity in the body of the paper is left to the authors' discretion. We do expect that authors leave citations to their previous work unanonymized, so that reviewers can ensure that all previous research has been taken into account by the authors. Accepted papers will be included in the final proceedings and programme only if at least one author has paid the conference registration fee. Only workshops and tutorials with at least six participants paying the associated fee by the early registration deadline will take place at the conference. Long paper submissions will have a rebuttal phase, which will allow authors to provide clarifications for the reviewers in a short text. Authors of Demonstration proposals (and of LBR papers wishing to present their papers as demonstrations) are encouraged to provide a preliminary video illustrating the proposed demonstration. The maximum lengths are:
