MEFISTO Method version 1

This report documents the work done in York, during project meeting in June 2000. The aim of this working paper is to propose a high-level presentation of the main principles of a Mefisto Method. The aim of this method is to propose a development process for interactive systems design integrating the various techniques developed or promoted by the Mefisto project. The method is model-based in the sense that all information gathered (by analysis) or produced (by design) is stored in various models. Another aim of this document is to make clear what kind of information that must (and must not) be stored in each model. This method also describes how the various tools developed during the Mefisto project fit together. .
