The
Université catholique de Louvain's Belgian Lab. on
Computer-Human Interaction (BCHI) has experience in the domain
of model-based approaches for developing interactive
applications with particular interest on declarative
specification languages that enable designers to capture user
interface knowledge in knowledge bases. Their contents can
further be exploited towards Computer-Aided Design of User
Interfaces (CADUI) thanks to a set of design heuristics and
usability guidelines. Forward and backward engineering of user
interfaces are also addressed, in particular for multiple
platforms. These research topics are currently being addressed
in some projects: MetroWeb, CADUI, Dolphin, and Pollen. |
