Demonstrations

Several technological advances can make human activities easier, faster, more accurate and more economical. Some lead to the creation of completely these activities. These technologies benefit people by helping them work more effectively and live more comfortably by creating new leisure activities and by opening new ways for communicating with friends, family, and colleagues. The system demonstration track is looking for examples of technologies with such potential. We encourage demonstrations of new and emerging technologies as well as innovations based on current technologies.

We are interested in demonstrations of all technologies in the full range of HCI-related topics, especially as they relate to the conference theme. A system demonstration is a live presentation of a running system.

The review process will retain the anonymity of reviewers; authors should guarantee the anonymity of their submissions (please remove names and affiliations from the first page and any other material that would allow authorship to be easily identified by the reviewers).

Submit a description of the demonstration of a maximum of 4 pages in PDF format, using the conference tool. Papers should be formatted according to LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format (templates can be found at Springer-Verlag LNCS Authors’ Instructions page).
The description of accepted demos will be published in the conference adjunct proceeding.

The volume editors are Paolo Buono, MariaFrancesca Costabile, Fabio Paternò, Carmen Santoro.

Remember to send the signed copyright form of adjunct proceeding by fax (+39 050 3138091) for the attention of Silvia Berti.
