Information about Rome
Hotels

The venue of the Conference is Frentani Congress Center, located in Via dei Frentani 4 (see map below; for a larger map, look at the Hotel page). This congress center is in a central area, very close to the Roma Termini railway main station, which is surrounded by many hotels of various categories and has also underground connection. The location allows participants to reach it on foot from the hotels and is convenient for those who want to visit the historical centre during a conference break.
Frentani Congress Center may be reached by city buses ATAC n. 492, 71, 310, 9. It is about 700 meters from metro line A (Termini Station stop) and about 600 meters from Metro line B (Castro Pretorio stop).
The direct train Leonardo Express connects Leonardo Da Vinci airport (also said Fiumicino airport) to Termini railway main station. Time schedule is every half hour from 6.37 to 23.37. The trip takes about half hour and costs 9,50 Euros. Tickets may be purchased with credit card from automatic machines at the Airport train station.
As in all major cities, it is very important to pay attention to the luggage and personal belongings.
