The aim EUD-NET Network of Excellence is to develop environments that allow people without particular background in programming to develop their own applications, with the ultimate aim of empowering people to flexibly employ advanced information and communication technologies within the future environments of ambient intelligence.

Usability will be a main concern at all levels of the process, while still requiring the design of approaches able to produce consistent and systematic solutions for the envisioned interactive environments. So the project participants are of a set of highly-qualified research groups in end-user devepolment. The consortium is composed of fiveteen partners:
